We completed a competitive review of local area harpists and other musicians, to determine what offerings were necessary, and what she could add to her site to up-level her offerings. We were able to identify and specifically target a range of clients that matched her offerings, and target sales pages specifically to each demographic: weddings, special events, lessons, and performances.

Melissa's first requirement was a modern, mobile-friendly look and feel for her new site. It had to look great today, but also be easy to update in the future as the site evolved. And it had to help potential clients visualize her at their special events. 

Fortunately, Melissa had an amazing photo session that really emphasized the iconic feel of her harp performances:

In addition, her site needed to showcase her 5-star ratings and rave reviews:

Finally, it had to allow potential clients to hear samples of her music:

The best part is: it's easy for Melissa to update on her own as she gets new music, photos, and other content.

Melissa needed her clients to be able to check her schedule quickly to see if she was available for their event-- and to be able to update her calendar easily whenever she booked a new event. 

The WordPress event management plugin Tribe's The Events Calendar provided an easy way to keep everyone up-to-date, with a UI that blended seamlessly with her new design.

Just like any modern business, Melissa needed to be able to accept money online-- whether for a wedding, a semester of harp lessons, or simply for a copy of her CD of children's lullabies. She was comfortable with her existing PayPal setup, but wanted a refreshed look, so we replaced the default PayPal UI with a custom look-and-feel.

With a series of custom-created forms, Melissa can easily accept event requests or schedule a full semester of private students.
